Maren, Odile and Taskmaster are back at the harbor (ventures/havre/cast/) with empty frames where their faces go. They get drawn by the house hand: the design dojo's drawing library (house/house.py in matcha/maths studio-src/teahub/design-v0.2, cleared through black belt), in the crayon style the board liked, Burnt Toast palette, head-and-shoulders, from each card's look.description. Read ventures/havre/OWNER.md first (decision 2).

Owner's lane: the house hand lives on the Mac, so this is done from there by the owner, not by a cloud seat. Steps:

  • Three portraits as SVG at cast/art/<id>.svg (square, under 40 KB each, no raster, no fonts), drawn with the house library from the look on each card; the head katas' rules apply (faces), not the figure rules.
  • The cards' portrait set to cast/art/<id>.svg (a path the page resolves from the site root; pictureSrc in app.js shows it, and apiPicture keeps it out of photos, as it should: photos are made from pictures kept in the card). tools/cast.mjs regenerates the module.
  • tools/build.sh keeps cast/art/ (it must not fall under the art/ it removes from earlier versions).
  • Graded by Clef on Workers AI, the way the dojo's portfolio was, for being on-brand; the grades go in the PR.
  • The browser test's first-visit step sees three faces, not three empty frames (#cast .ph img loaded).
  • Since the smoke test takes shots/desktop.png and shots/og.png, the site's share picture gets the faces with it.

DONE: the three SVGs in cast/art/, referenced from the cards; unit suite and smoke test green; published through Actions -> refresh, slug havre, from the branch; the live page shows the faces.

Maren, Odile and Taskmaster are back at the harbor (`ventures/havre/cast/`) with empty frames where their faces go. They get drawn by the house hand: the design dojo's drawing library (`house/house.py` in matcha/maths `studio-src/teahub/design-v0.2`, cleared through black belt), in the crayon style the board liked, Burnt Toast palette, head-and-shoulders, from each card's `look.description`. Read `ventures/havre/OWNER.md` first (decision 2). Owner's lane: the house hand lives on the Mac, so this is done from there by the owner, not by a cloud seat. Steps: - Three portraits as SVG at `cast/art/<id>.svg` (square, under 40 KB each, no raster, no fonts), drawn with the house library from the look on each card; the head katas' rules apply (faces), not the figure rules. - The cards' `portrait` set to `cast/art/<id>.svg` (a path the page resolves from the site root; `pictureSrc` in `app.js` shows it, and `apiPicture` keeps it out of photos, as it should: photos are made from pictures kept in the card). `tools/cast.mjs` regenerates the module. - `tools/build.sh` keeps `cast/art/` (it must not fall under the `art/` it removes from earlier versions). - Graded by Clef on Workers AI, the way the dojo's portfolio was, for being on-brand; the grades go in the PR. - The browser test's first-visit step sees three faces, not three empty frames (`#cast .ph img` loaded). - Since the smoke test takes `shots/desktop.png` and `shots/og.png`, the site's share picture gets the faces with it. DONE: the three SVGs in `cast/art/`, referenced from the cards; unit suite and smoke test green; published through `Actions -> refresh`, slug `havre`, from the branch; the live page shows the faces.
