# Dollhouse
|

For someone who just signed a lease (or is about to rearrange) and is arguing with their partner or roommate about whether the couch fits along that wall, Dollhouse turns a hand-drawn floor plan into a shareable isometric diorama in under a minute — no account, no app, no upload.
|
|
|
|
## What is Dollhouse?
|
|
|
|
Dollhouse is a free browser-based tool that lets you quickly create a 3D-like isometric visualization of your room layout. Simply trace your floor plan by dragging walls onto a grid, then drop in furniture from a small library (couch, bed, desk, plants, TV). The page renders a polished isometric 'dollhouse view' of your room as an SVG, live, with no upload and no account required.

The whole plan is encoded in the URL, so sharing is just copying the link — perfect for sending to your roommate or partner to settle the "will the couch fit" debate. One primary button lets you download a PNG or SVG poster of the diorama.

3. Select furniture items from the toolbar and place them in your room
|
|
4. See the isometric diorama update in real-time
|
|
5. Share your creation by copying the URL or downloading a poster
|
|
|
|
## Honest limits
|
|
|
|
- No true-to-scale measurements in the free version
|
|
- Limited furniture library (only 5 items)
|
|
- No multi-room support
|
|
- No collaboration features
|
|
- Basic export options (PNG/SVG posters only)
|
